Hi, welcome to my blog!

My name is Adriana and I live in the Logan Square neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. I started this blog as a way to share my home decor and styling tips, DIY projects, and crafts. I have no formal training in interior design, but it has been a passion of mine since I was young. I remember reading my mom’s real estate magazines and dreaming of the houses, playing the Sims solely to build and decorate homes, and picking out (AKA begging my mom for) decor for my room (green and purple themed with a frog motif throughout, LOL, I’ve come a long way) all when I was only eight.

My interior style can’t be described with just one word and it definitely isn’t typical or common. I love taking a mix of furniture and decor from various time periods and styles and creating a quirky and unexpected, yet cohesive mix. I would describe my taste in interiors as somewhere between bohemian and Hollywood regency, post modern and baroque, Asian/African-inspired and mid-century modern, and art deco and neoclassic. I absolutely love old homes and vintage furniture and decor. The one interior design style I have no use for is minimalism (otherwise known as where boredom goes to stare at a blank white wall).
